Owen O’Neill, MD, grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated from St. Thomas before it became a university. He received his medical degree from Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota, and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Mayo Clinic. He went on to do a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland. He has attained a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine and continues to pursue training in the newest orthopedic techniques.
